2017 Event Sponsor Opportunities
5 Mile, 5K and 1 Mile Fun Walk
May 20, 2017
The 2017 5K and 1 Mile Fun Walk will be our fourth annual eventand we are adding a 5 Mile race this year! Speranza gives medalsand prizes to overall and age group winners. This year we will be ordering a photo backdrop with the event logo and the Top Dog sponsor’s logo. Each winner will have their photo taken professionally in front of the backdrop. Each participant gets a T-shirt in their goodie bag and sponsors at the Top Dog and Big Barker levels get their logo on the back of the T-shirt. Every sponsor has the option to put something in the goodie bags (flyer/brochure/small trinket).
We had a very successful Poker Run in 2016 and are planning to do another one in July 2017. We are expecting about 200 motorcycles to participate this year. We will plan a beautiful route, with stops where each rider gets a playing card and ends with a picnic and entertainment. At the end of the ride each rider has a hand of cards and the best hand wins a cash prize. We will be printing a booklet for each rider with information about the rescue, the route, rules for the poker game and sponsor advertising.
2nd Annual Gala
August 26, 2017
We are very excited to be planning our Second Annual Gala for Hope! We will be inviting our supporters to join us for an evening of food, drink and dancing, complete with a VIP Yappy Hour beforehand. Each sponsor will get the below indicated number of invitations to the VIP Yappy Hour and the Gala. The Top Dog and Big Barker sponsors will have VIP seating at the event. A booklet will be given to all attendees that will include a schedule for the evening, information about the rescue, information about adoptable dogs and sponsor advertising. There will be a photo backdrop with the event logo and the Top Dog sponsor’s logo . Wewill also be creating a “red carpet” for photos ops with the “Puparazzi”. The Gala will be held at the Antique Automobile Club of America in Hershey.
Our biggest event of the year is Pumpkinfest, a fall festival on our farm. We have children’s games, make your own scarecrows, food, face painting, raffles, adoptable dogs to meet, make your own caramel apples, a huge bake sale and so much more! There is a lot of exposure when sponsoring Pumpkinfest; we had more than 1,200 people at the event in 2016. A Tshirt is designed each year and given to the 100+ volunteers it takes to make Pumpkinfest happen. The Top Dog and Big Barker sponsors will have their logos on the back of the Tshirt.
