Hi There! I’m Eloise and I am a 14-month-old, beautiful brindled Pitbull. I have a lot of energy and love playing in the snow! Even though I’m energetic, I loved to be loved! A lot of the volunteers were eager to get me for walks so they could love on me; I didn’t mind, I just soaked it all up. People tell me I’m super sweet because I get along with other dogs. I don’t understand what the big deal is, all dogs are great, even the little ones! I also love kids, but I’m not too sure how I feel about those cat things…I’ve never met one yet.

Late in January of 2019, during what people call a Polar Vortex, I was tied to a stranger’s porch and left there. The person who tied me up left a bag of food and that was about it. Thankfully, the PA State Police contacted Speranza and Janine came to get me. At first, I was a little scared - it was cold - really, really cold. I had scratches and scars all over me, and I didn’t know what was going on. But when Janine untied me from the porch I said, “alright lady, let’s go!” and I drug her to the warmth of her car.  We snuggled for a little bit, she gave me kisses and that’s when she named me Eloise.

I’m still a young lady so I have a lot of energy. I think a family with lots of energy would be perfect for me – we could go for walks, hikes, and just play! I really like other dogs, no matter what their size is, so if you have a dog who needs a friend, pick me. I’m still not sure about cats, but if you are interested, I love to meet them to find out what’s so special about them and maybe make some new friends. Kids are pretty great too. Like I’ve said before, I love to be loved and kids are super sweet.
