Hi there, my name is Pennsy and I am a petite 45 pound, Heinz-57 mix. I am a very sweet gal, although I can be a bit shy at first. I warm up quickly and have quite a personality. I love other dogs and children, but I don’t like cats. I am currently living with a foster with lots of other dogs. I am looking for a home where I have a comfy couch, a family to follow around, hopefully some kids to play with and a promise of forever. I am smart and hoping to learn some new tricks from my new family soon.
WANT TO KNOW MY RESCUE STORY?
I was found in a local quarry; hungry, dirty and tired. Some nice people called Speranza and Janine got me medical attention, food and a warn bed. I was microchipped to family that had given me away years ago, couldn’t take me back nor did they know the name or contact info of the family to whom they had given me. I moved to a foster home pretty quickly and am very happy to be living in a home again.
Check out my report card!
I am a great dog. I am crate and house trained, affectionate and laid back. I would prefer a fenced in back yard, but don’t require one. I do need a few minutes to warm up to new people, so a patient family who understands that would be best.
